Road Department

The Poland Township Road Department is currently responsible for maintenance of 49 certified miles of roadways. This includes over 150 streets and 55 cul-de-sacs. A crew of 7 employees handles all maintenance which includes, but is not limited to, sweeping of streets twice a year, drainage (within right of ways), signage, patching, berm repairs (grading, mowing, guard rails), Township facilities, (3 buildings), inspections of contracted services (paving etc.) and winter snow and ice control. The department is also responsible for maintaining the two township cemeteries, Poland Center Cemetery and Lowellville Cemetery.

The Road Department is readily available to any resident who has questions or problems with any provided services.
